Wow, I bet not too many composites in these guys. I guess the DC-8 has been re-engined?

Great work! I like the lighting on the Omni. Did you do any PP on these shots? I have also seen the DC-8. Would you mind if I show you my shot of the DC-8? I just love that plane so much and I think it's neat how we've seen the same plane. Haha.

I always use PS I crop then make a new layer then using the wand I click on the sky select inverse then sharpen just the plane that way no halos around the wheels and then I resize then deselect and flatten and save.

heck yeah show your dc-8 I don't mind you posting it here :)

Your PP sounds close to what I do. Haha. Although, I mess with some other settings to get good clear color.
Here is my DC-8. There is just something I love about this plane.
I have another angle but it's too close to the same angle as yours.

Cool man, I'll be following you and checking out your photos. By the way I only got the background because my lens wouldn't go any further. Haha.

Nice to see someone else catching the DC-8's. With fall and the shorter days our DC-8's arrive and leave in the dark :(

Here is one from earlier this summer

Wow, I didn't know this, but it makes me love the DC-8 even more! The DC-8 went 1.012 in a controlled dive in 1961. :D
