Spent a few hrs with my kids at home so I figured why not take some shots....C&C welcome/needed :)

1. Nice focus on the face. I don't know what he's holding in his hand or how it adds to the picture (maybe a favorite hobby?). The background also looks a little weird, like he was cut out and photoshopped in.

2. Face seems soft compared to #1.

Thanks Aer, the toy does not add anything to the pic, I agree. As far as the background goes, it's a microfiber piece of cloth. Second pic did come up softer not sure why but it did. I haven't been practicing but like to get back to it. Thanks for your thoughts
