My first post!

Just took this recently with my 24-70 L and 7D. My girlfriend wanted a photo shoot done of the dress that she made for a competition she's entering (she's an aspiring fashion designer).

We went out to this cold beach and just took a few quick pictures.

your GF is lovely and clearly talented.

IMO all of these are begging for fill flash. They all seem under exposed.

I agree with the consensus. Needs fill flash and it looks a little soft/out of focus. #5 the foreground portion of the boat is distracting. #3 is definitely my favorite. It has the most action/interest.

As said above fill flash + underexposed, BUT! You managed to have beautiful pose and I'd say no pictures of your loved one is bad ! keep shooting :D

The pics would have been really something with better lighting. You should redo this shoot with a small reflector. I think you would be pleased and suprised

pics are all very soft. you could have used the built in at least on some of them. a little fill light goes a long way. at least expose more to the right.

Soft is what i thought too. Do the full size images look out of focus? It may be a resizing for web issue...

I don't mention about fills, already mentioned.

#4 love the colors
#6 looks over-PP'd for me, like tried to get exposure corrected and still face is dark.

Nice set anyways.
