awesome shot! she hits with a lot of spin i see  jealous of the clay courts. a few har-tru courts here but they are a rarity.

Thanks Mike, means a lot coming from my personal "maybe one day I'll make one photo half as good as his worst" hero ;] (shot some interiors recently, gained another level of appreciation for the results you get)

I'm honestly suprised that clay courts are considered something extra in the US, here (Czech Republic) it's probably the most common surface and definitely not anything posh.

And to stay on topic - the lighting was a 24" softbox camera right pointed down for key, rim light was a bare flash camera left behind the net (sort of obvious). Here's the SOOC if anyone's interested - http://plawa.cyber.cz/img/rita_tenis_orig.jpg (external link)

Most community courts here in the Boston area at least, are concrete.
I'll have to bring a racquet if I ever visit the Czech Republic...been dying to visit all the castles you have too :D

Good job on the postprocessing too.

New Ferrari FF was going to be unveiled tonight at the local dealer. I went in during the day before hand and snapped a quick picture (maybe 5 min with setup) of it in the showroom. Tried to kill most of the ambient...everything lit was done by just a 430ex to keep from having a huge setup in the middle of their showroom.

First few of these are due to arrive for customers who pre-ordered near the end of the year. At first I wasn't crazy about the car but after seeing one in person and being in it...its not so bad. 660hp, awd, backseat, free maintenance for 7 year....not so bad.

QUOTED IMAGE

Did you just have your camera on a tripod and fire off the 430EX around and inside the car?

Great image mate, what focal length did you use for it?
