Well, you just trolled onto my ignore list. Congratulations.

Thank you in deep of my heart, you should do it LOTS more earlier.

BTW, you might need psychological counselling IMHO  ;)

And I add you on my ignore list, too. And you are the 1st and only one there.

No good for his heart for sure.

I have enough stress at work already, but I'm still trying to live over 90 year-old.

I'm more interested in a Canon 3D (1D in a 5D body style).

At a T3 price!

X_tan - fire up a thread on 5d3 problems/issues. It's not out, but that shouldn't stop anyone from talking about problems it MIGHT have (noise, banding, mirror falls off, etc, etc).

^ I think 5D3 might have too much noise @ ISO 25600
And 7D2 might loss its magnesium alloys body to 'cheap plastic' and become 70D2

The 5D3 is too expensive. Even though they updated the AF system there are still reports of it being slow and inconsistent. Even though I like how they placed the Direct-print(?) button closer to the shutter, it is too sensitive and I am printing more than I want when I accidentally hit it.
I love the new swivel touchscreen of the 7D2 but it is noisy and will never match the IQ of the 5D3. That is why I am going to buy the 1Ds4 and the 24-70IS even though it is soft wide open and I don't need IS since my primary photography interest is to take pictures of rulers, one dollar bills and cereal boxes.
Anyone wants to argue my fine statements?

...and before anyone says anything my pants are tight but there are no jeans in my closet (those are only for skinny teenagers).

;)

You wouldn't have the ISO noise issues if you full stop ISOs:rolleyes:

Todd definitely stir up my interest for 3D "(1D in a 5D body style)".
The best in the both world.

I know! It's what I want. I'd be willing to pay for it too, just build it Canon and we will come. ;)

The 3D couldn't be a 1D in a 5D body style, since one of the features of the 1D is the built in grip. (One of it's BEST features also).

So instead of a 3D, for all you FF lovers out there who want a SMALL camera, or a camera to which you can ADD a grip, just tell Canon to put the 1D series AF into their next 5D series camera. No need for a totally new series.

Also whatever it's called, if it's NOT an actual 1D/1Ds body, it SHOULDN'T have ALL the features and benefits of the 1D/1Ds series, esp if it's not going to cost as much. The "best of the best" should have some features all it's own...which is why it IS the top of the line model.

Photographers do it in 1/1,000th of a second...but the memory lasts forever! ;)
