Evening all :)

Been culling through my Revival images and here is what I hope is just a taster??? PP'ing a bit rough 'n ready as the conditions were IMO dire :( Later (when???) some cars and the Spitfires :D

The bikes were nice to see so here we go:- Edit - should have said these are all crops of the max 400mm of the 100-400, approx 1/6 of the frame?

this (external link) is where I am hoping to go with the good lady wife next year...

Very nice, I went there a few years ago but it had not rained for a while so the waterfalls were so so, worth doing your homework before you go, there are lots of different routes and only realised we had missed the best bits after we had left

Sorted! amazing what length of cable and types I have lurking around. For some reason I have a 50ft telephone extension lead, my equipment always was a little short and in need of extra length!

LOL. I meant your car. :)

Well chaps, I've been hovering around for a while, when I first asked if 'Christchurch' was South-East enough the answer was kind of yes OK with a request for some shots from this part of the world ... I've been struggling to find any that come near the standard you guys have set and would welcome ANY comments, I'd really like to improve my technique so fire away ...

We have lots of really good coastline around here, this is Hengistbury Head where I walk the dog most mornings:

... that'll be enough for now, in fact I'm not sure I have any more but it feels good to join in with you people, the posts are an excellent mixture of good advice, humour and disrespect, excellent, keep up the good work.

Roger

Matt, I nearly missed these.....:( They are all great but the first two are just superb. Maisie is such photogenic little lass and to use the expression "the camera loves her..."

Evening all... good to see the South-East thread still going strong. With one thing and another life took over and I've been away from the forum for about 18 months and the camera hasn't seen a great deal of action in that time either.

Just starting to get back into the swing of things and have been keeping an eye on the thread the last couple of weeks. Still lots of wonderful pictures being posted as always! Hopefully meet up with a few of you again soon :)

Evening all. Just rolled in from a 13 hour day followed by a high speed dash back to the UK to make sure the cats are OK (SWMBO is on a job in Edinburgh). Not a lap record time but certainly a good 15 minutes below par and thoroughly good fun ;) :)

I had to to do the same this year if it makes you feel better.

Tyre then got a hole in it 3 weeks later and I had to get another one

Funnily enough I had the same situation, though it was 3 months after the new boots to get a puncture.

700 notes though, you don't drive an '08 Vectra by any chance. I remember a mate of mine getting one of those and the daft size of the alloys meaning it cost him 800 quid to do. I rember him saying something like if they were half an inch wider or narrower (either way) it would have halved the cost of the tyres as it'd put him towards a common size.
