Here is my take on the JCCS for this year. I went 2 years ago and really didn't like the show that much. It could have easily just been called the Nissan/Datsun Classic Car Show. This year, I was pleased to see how much more diverse the cars were. It's impossible to sum up this show with just 8 embedded photos, so I will provide a link to my website with all 119 pics that I took. Enjoy!
.) A beautiful '71 Skyline GT-R, with a unique swap. A naturally-aspirated RB26 with individual throttles. This car was featured in at least one car magazine.
.) One of the highlights of the show, a Nissan Fairlady 432. An extremely rare car, never sold in the US. The engine was much prettier to me than the car itself, although they were both gorgeous, haha.
.) The cockpit of the Mazda RX-7 Race Car that was being shown off, along with the Mazda 787. Quite a treat to see those cars there.
.) I was in love with this Toyota Crown. In general, I love the big-bodied Toyota sedans from this era.
.) This Cressida had a 1UZ-FE swap from a Lexus LS400/SC400 in it, with a 5spd manual conversion. I was drooling!
.) Being a Mitsubishi guy, I basically went bonkers over this '81 Lancer EX Turbo 1800 GSR. You NEVER see these in the US, ever.
.) Even though the Lexus LFA isn't a classic, it certainly will be. It was almost impossible to get a clean shot of this car, as it was crowded with people pretty much the entire day.
.) The S2000 motor swap was a common sight at the show. This one was dropped in a late 70's Celica liftback. Pretty clean!
