First of all, I would like to thank everyone for their kind words.

I used shift to get more of the foreground in the picture. Had I tilted the camera downwards to do this the mountain would have gotten perspective distorion.

Thank you! It's 3 image's panorama. Initially, I was going to take one photograph, but than decided to shift lens vertically and, eventually, end up with three images.

That's true about the lens. Too bad I didn't have TSE 24 attached to my camera at the time when I saw smoke and sunbeams-had to use 24-105 before smoke was gone.
