Can't wait to see some more entries. I will try and get one done today or tomorrow.

Also has anyone seen the prices of the 5dmkII in Canada? $1999 so if anyone is thinking about getting one, now would be the time!

where did you get your 60D from?

From a forum member with feedback...

EEEEK! Do you have a tracking number??

No, the seller is continuously pushing back the shipping, over and over.

Hope you didn't paypal gift the money. Good luck!

Nope...

dispute that hoe!

I opened a dispute first thing yesterday morning, probably should've done it a bit earlier, but I'm a trustworthy person. Can't convert to a claim until 1pm today. Hopefully I end up with more than their account being negative and me getting nothing. :(

Okay. So, not wanting to part with my nifty 250 for weeks, I inspected the contacts this morning. And, blew out the rear element area. Contacts didn't need cleaning. Which they shouldn't have. Now the lens seems to be focusing perfectly, and quickly, even in low light (indoors).

So, here's my question for all of those with a greater understanding of optics than myself: Is it possible for dust on a rear element to cause focusing issues?

I would not fixate on what dots lenses have. EF, EFS, 3rd Party etc they all have their ups and downs.
...
FULL FRAME:
Canon EF
SIGMA DG
Tokina FX
Tamron (dosnt seem to make alot for FF, as their Di series was built for crop)

CROP:
Canon EF-S
Sigma DC
Tokina DX
Tamron Di

Slight correction: Tamron "Di" = full frame or crop, "Di-II" = crop only.

What's the highest ISO setting you guys are comfortable using?

I personally don't go past 1600. Wondering if that's pretty standard

I regularly shoot iso 3200 for sports. Cleans up fairly nicely in lightroom and I won't be printing any larger than 12x18".
