I use collections a lot. For instance, I recently edited a week's worth of shooting, each day's product in its own dated folder. I set up a "Project" collection and dragged to it selected shots from each day. Thereafter I didn't need to go to the folders again. Collections are easily set up and easily deleted when their "shelf life" finishes.

Is there anyway I can select two different presets yet keep the first preset settings?

Only if the second doesn't alter those same settings.

As a newbie to Lightroom (1 week) your recommendation of www.SLRLounge.com (external link) is exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks for your recommendation, it is perfect. bw!

Lightroom Version 3.6 is now available as is ACR 6.6 for Photoshop...

More camera support (including the new S100), more lens profiles and some other tweaks.

On my i7 2600K PC w/ 16Gb of RAM, it seems to run a bit snappier and changinging catalogs is (IMO) noticeably faster.

YMMV...

There doesn't seem to be this hard drive thrashing after the update, that is probably the cause of why it is now running faster

Hi, Need some help on an app called keyboard tamer,
I downloaded the Keyboard Tamer and have received the licence, installed into Lightroom 3.6 and under plug-in manager it tells me it is working but when I go under plug-in extras I have keyboard tamer showing dulled out and directly under there is a long list concerning Blacks,Clarity,Brightness, Contrast, Fill light etc etc all with options to increase or decrease (+or-) I have uninstalled and re-installed 3 times with the same end result, I assume something has gone wrong somewhere. When I uninstall the app all the above Blacks,Brightness etc etc disappear. On Win 7 64 bit

Can someone please advise.

Please note I am new to Lightroom.
Thank You
Russ

Many Thanks,
Russell.

I've never heard of the app.

Does the provider of Keyboard Tamer have some kind of online contact/support/forum? I'd say that would be your best bet. Or you could try one of the dedicated Lightroom forums!
