Hello, everyone. I hope this is the appropriate place for my question. If not, mods, please move it.

I have applied to the Peace Corps and will be leaving the country sometime within the next year. Of course I plan to take my camera gear and document the journey (who wouldn't!). But I"m having a bit of difficulty finding insurance that will cover me without having a US address, which I won't have for about 2 1/2 years. At least. Obviously not having insurance on my gear simply isn't an option.

So I thought I would ask the folks here for suggestions. Where might be the best companies for me to focus my search? Any feedback will be appreciated.

Best regards,
Michael

Why wouldn't you keep a permanent US address? Where ever I am living in the world, I always keep a permanent US address. You don't have any family that you could have your mail sent to while you're away?

Unfortunately, no, no family available. I've got a couple of friends that I'm pretty sure would not mind being my mailing address but I was trying to avoid imposing on them.

Best regards,
Michael
