This was my best image, at least in my opinion, from my recent trip to the San Juan Mountains in south western Colorado. It was a little before the peak color but there's something about this image I really liked so I thought I'd share it.

C/C always welcome.

I really like this shot it looks like a great view. The only thing I would change personally would be the rock overhang on the bottom right. I would like to see a little more of it or not at all. Preferably more though. The way it is right now makes me feel like it's a distraction more than anything. It also doesn't help that its blown out a bit there too. With that said it's just a small nitpick, overall nice image.

Beautiful. We are headed to Denver in 3 weeks so I am hoping to see some fall foliage.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Beautiful! I love that area of Colorado. We spent many hours running the Jeep trails around there.

I have to agree with the first poster about the rock in the right corner if you can crop it out. Otherwise, great shot!

Thanks for the comments. Per the suggestions, here's a cropped version and one with a slightly different framing that shows more of the road (this is the Corkscrew 4WD trail). Are these better?

No foreground works best here, IMO.

I'd go with the no foreground as well, it's just too blown out and not at the right angle. The edit with no foreground looks awesome though!
