What is the issue? I posted the Firefighter and critiqued the frog photo.

Ok here we go....Fire Fighter photo 7/10
Reason being is I like the photo a lot, just wayyyy to much noise/reduction in post.

8/10 It's lovely, sharp, and I like the colors. For a candid the guy's expression is pretty good but it could have been a little better (eg not talking). Very nice!

I'm leaning towards really not liking this. The editing is pretty bad, at least in my opinion. Oh well, it's old...

I like the film look. The tree is losing a lot of detail though, it's too dark. I do like the high-contrast look. 7/10

Wow amazing lighting and eye catching detail. Truly looks like it should be in a magazine ad 10/10

I like it a lot! It's very sharp and you got down low enough that it looks really nice. Now, this might be just a personal thing but I think it would look better if you had had the shot going straight down the middle of the track. It would have just looked more balanced to me; having something directly in the center isn't always bad. The b/w looks good though! 8/10

Messing around with macro. I don't know if I like it.
This is *not* in black and white. It just is black and white. :)

I like the detail of the threading and the shadows, just not really an interesting subject for macro, not to me personally anyway. 9/10 though.

Posting this one for my wife, just got her a Nikon D90 and a 35mm f/1.8, used for this image of our 1 year old, funny how someone so cute and little can make such a mess lol...

7/10 - Adorable kid and I like the b & w ...in my opinion, the top right hand corner is a bit blown out and maybe a bit more contrast. Nice, though!

Learning about my new DSLR! What a difference from what I had:)

6/10: Composition could use a little more 1/3rd rule applied (not cropped off at the paws), but on a good note, the subject looks like and sharp. Nice pool!

Wow, I love it. The sky is amazing and the contrast between the blue at the top and the dark towards the bottom is interesting to look at. And the grass looks soft but defined, which in my opinion looks good. 9/10

Not a huge fan of this one; the focus is awful. But I guess... it's what I have uploaded...

7/10 - I like the pose and I like the framing. Maybe needs a boost in contrast?

9/10 Wow! A very fall kind of shot, and I love it. I also really like the leaf itself with the green shot through it. And it's nice and sharp.

More lupines. The focus is a little better but I don't know about how interesting it is. :/

ETA woah, it's huge. I'll resize it after class, I promise. Gotta run now, though...

Nice color, nice detail, good DOF, just leaves me wanting to see more of it. 8/10.

I really like that shot. Looks pretty good and sharp. Colors are good, feels a little warm to me though, (might be my screen though). I love that it's looking into the camera! 9/10.
