DGS, it looks like the USPS are not collecting the tax.
However, I do know US Tax Office controls electronics (cameras) coming in from other countries on anything over a certain value. For instance, when you arrive and clear US customs you declare what you are bringing in. Anything over USD800 you are immediately ushered to the tax office. Gut feeling is this is something that US Tax office has failed to catch.

Wow, that was fast shipping DGS! I hope mine comes that quickly.

Just got confirmation that the package is in Hawaii. My mailman comes around 3:00, it is now 2:00 lol. That was quick! I hope it gets sent out for delivery today.

So close to saving the cash, bet they sell out or raise the price before I'm ready... :(

Well, I see that the on line shopping availability status has changed from "ships next day" to "Usually ships in 4-6 business days." so it does look like they are getting low on stock.

It was "3-4 days" last night...

Not really in a rush for it, but hate being so close yet so far away....

To anyone who have bought it from the US..how do you tracked the shipment? Mine was shipped yesterday and every time I log on their site. It's just show the status as being shipped..nothing else.

I got an email from Canadian post with a tracking number. You can track it at Canadapost.ca.

I got email said it was shipped with a link to track. When I went to the link, it took me to their website asking me to log on my account. I logged on and it's just show the status of the order, not the actually tracking.

You should receive an email later in the day with the Canadian post's tracking number. You can then track the package online.

It's express mail service on both sides - canada post as well as USPS.

It seems it takes 2 days for one to receive it
Day 1 - Canada post picks it up
Day 2 - In transit with Canada post. Clears customs. Clears the first USPS sort facility
Day 3 - Your local USPS hub (not your home town USPS center but regional distribution hub) should receive it. Subsequently it moves through the local USPS and your area USPS center should have it and initiate delivery that same day. This is for most CONUS delivery areas.

If your address falls (many non-metro areas do) in a 2 day zone for USPS Express mail, then you will not get it on Day 3 as above but on Day 4.

Hope this helps with the wait! :)
