wow.. No comments on my pictures.... either they are too good, or they sucked that much.
[GIFS ARE NOT RENDERED IN QUOTES]

rig bounces too much as apparent from the lights. hence the cars look soft.

edit - changing the white balance as well. it also seems like there is a haze on your photos. maybe from you lens/lens filter?

You have serious potential. I've said it before, pick up a wider lens and you'll be in business. I can't wait to see what you come up with my friend.

 Oh Neil... You make me blush.

Thank you sir. That means a LOT to me, and you know that.
You're the boss.

anyone in the northern illinois or southern wisconsin area that has a rig and willing to meet up? Id like to see on of these setups in person and pick a brain for a little bit on technique. I really want to build one of these rigs but want dont know how worth while it would be to have.

I could meet up with you sometime to show you mine. It's noting too crazy.. some avenger cups, super clamps, and 16ft of aluminum pole. Let me know if you'd like to.

I shoot photos of cars.

would love love love to. i have a pending shoot for a magazine with a buddies truck right now. And think this would be a cool shot to have for the article. Its not a rush thing, but would love to even strap it onto my or any car and snap a few pics with my camera and 10-22 to see what she looks like and take a stab at editing it as well.
i just put all the part in my cart on B&H a few minutes ago but the are out of avenger pumps right now. Adorama has the pumps but are out of stock on the magic arm. All of it is pending purchase right now. As i would like to see how it all comes together for me.

Depending on where, I'd be down too.

I have the standard setup, avengers, super clamps, but my boom is a manfrotto autopole.
