One from Last Night

Hard one to light. Was windy and could not get an umbrella up. I wanted to get the shadow from the sun out of the scene from behind the car but there was no way that parabolic was going to stay up, even with someone holding it:o

Large soft box with AB 1600 aimed at front side of emily
4 stop nd filter to drop ambient
Adjusted iso to get a look i was OK with
F/7.1 at 1/125 iso at 250 with ND filter attached

Wanted to kill the ambient and do the iso bump so it was like chasing light at sunset time. Worked out pretty good. Ive all but stopped trying to figure out the math on these ND filters. Using the viewfinder and playing with the settings. It did not work w/o ND filters for this shot. Very bright and direct sunset lighting at 600PM

She had a pair of jeans on underneath. She was kneeling and leaned back.

Mike the last one with the truck is one of my favorites you have posted.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

^^^^^^

Topaz is in the work flow. Two adjustments at different opacitys and several steps in photoshop to get the look, but, i like how the last one came out. We have about 10 more that are just really good expressions from her so I will post a couple more. Really wish it had not been so windy, the parabolic would have really nailed the lighting out there-- next time:rolleyes:

Here are some from my 2nd Senior shoot. I have learned a lot from you guys and hopefully my work is improving. I lucked into an awesome location, a deserted rail car building. The new owner happened to be there when I was looking for permission to shoot in the area.

All shots at the building were with a 580ex II into a 46" softlighter II, and 70-200 II. Sorry about the number of pics, I don't get to post very often.

And a couple more...

These two were at the beach and I did not have my ND Filter, so the flash was on camera with HSS
