no order in my case ... even if the 85L could be sufficient by itself.

TSE 17L4.0 (100% lanscape)
24L1.4II (walkaround and indoor life)
85L1.2II (sticked for any uses in the life like for my last 20 years with FD85L1.2 portrait, action/sport, landscape, ... )
200L2.0 or 300L2.8ISII (sport and portrait)

I missing a good WA macro lens .. I use sometimes a sigma 24F1.8
But of course 2 bodies FF and APSH, so it makes 8 lenses in real life..... that's all !

Top Six:
1. 17L TSE (UWA + TS... need I say more?)
2. 24L II (Wide angle and it's fast. Right up my alley)
3. 35L (I have it and love it, it's a given)
4. 85L II (Same as the 35L reasoning)
5. 200L f/2 IS (Dream lens.... *drools*)

Wouldn't get:
1. Canon 65mm MP E (I like macro, but that's too much for me... no need for that much magnification)
2. Canon 100-400 (I barely use zooms as is, plus I don't need the length. Definitely too slow for my tastes as well)

One add'l:
1. 14L (REALLY UWA. Not to mention it is so beautiful looking.... another dreamer for me since I know it won't come in use a TON of times)

I guess I could just leave my budget kit here:

1. 17-40L
2. 100mm macro
3. 85mm f/1.8
4. 24-105L
5. 28mm f/1.8
6. 50mm f/1.8

Pretty much in order of how much I use them, although after the macro also tends to take the lead at times.

Not getting:
- 70-200 2.8 IS: Too heavy for most practical use.
- 85L: love the look don't like the ergonomics.

I might upgrade my 28 to a 35L and 50 to another 50 in due time. Also hoping to get either a 200 2.8, 135L or 70-200 f/4 IS some time.

Some of my lenses focus beyond infinity...!

Ok, I did a search and found this thread.

Top six:

1. 300 2.8 IS II
2. 24 1.4 II or 24 T&S II
3. 70-300L
4. 100L
5. 800 f/5.6
6. 35 1.4 or 135 2

Wouldn't get:

1. 24-105L (rip off price for quality)
2. 1200 f/5.6 (too compact, i like to be able to feel the weight of a lens in my hands otherwise it just seems like plastic toy junk to me and i just can't deal with that)
also wouldn't get any non-L prime under 35mm since they are worse than the zooms for IQ

One add'l

50 1.4 with real USM :D if I got the 135 2 above
or
135 2 if I got the 35 1.4 above
or maybe 17 T&S
or 70-200 2.8 IS II
or 200 2
(or how about AND :D)

Money no object...then I have to push the envelope :-)

1) Nikon 13mm f5.6
2) Canon 24mm F3.5 TS-E II
3) Canon 70-200mm f2.8 II
4) Sigma 200-500mm f2.8
5) Canon EF 1200mm f5.6
6) Leica APO 1600mm f5.6

Not:
Canon 75-300mm USM because it is junk
Canon 75-300mm non-USM because it is junkier

Additional:
Canon 35mm f1.4
