Great shots. I love all the shots of the Audi. #2 is great, I really love all the bugs, and other crap that you can see on the front of the car.

I know what you mean. That, for me is one of the best features of shooting endurance racing. The cars just get abused.... and of course, the late day light exaggerates the look even more.

Thanks,

JT

Yeah - number 2 is my favorite, and the crop emphasizes the roll as he is coming over the curbing.

John,
I get to see lot of track stuff on these Forums, most of it is very boring frankly, and uninspiring.

The compositions you use are really good ,but it is the intelligent use of the light that sets your shots apart, that and the clever use of backgrounds that complement car colours ,plus great sharpness as well.

2,3,4 and 6 in this set are my favourites,1 is great but a little tight in frame for me,8 is different and lovely colours.

3 is my pick to stick on the wall in a nice frame at big size.

Regards from over the pond,
Pons

Agree on #1. I have a few similar... but I liked the car color in this one the best. There's a DOT light mounted on the inside of turn 7. They had it pointing a bit more to the exit of the turn this year... and catching the car in the light could only be accomplished about a heartbeat before the right side of the frame began including corner workers and the wall. A heart beat or two sooner, shifted the color... still a cool shot. But I just liked the one with a bit more color.

BTW... we watched the movie TRON again last night. Hard not to believe the movie wasn't an influence on some of the R18's design cues. LOL
