According to Wikipedia, the Xerox machine never went "consumer", so in that sense we can hand Jobs the credit for pushing things into the home computing environment!

Why again can we not have these people arrested :/

OMG -- well, they are a small bunch but definitely dedicated to hating!

They showed up in my town last year to "protest" at a public high school, but the counter-demonstrators had more fun:)!

Look when the KKK has had to distance itself from you for being a bunch of hatemongers...

Though i deleted my post, i was concerned it could start a bad arguement on here

The New York Times
Steve Jobs’s Patents

"The 317 Apple patents that list Steven P. Jobs among the group of inventors offer a glimpse at his legendary say over the minute details of the company’s products — from the company’s iconic computer cases to the glass staircases that are featured in many Apple stores."

Bleh, which is the bad part, as much as i hate what they say i guess they have a right to say it..

However that would not stop say, passing an emergency ordinance and saying no protests within 500 yards of a funeral or something like that

For the record, I know from very reliable sources* that Jobs could be a vile, hateful SOB to work for...

Rehearsals for the annual Apple conferences were usually blood baths with even the smallest glitch sending Steve Jobs into nearly apoplectic rages where he would sh*t can assistants at rates surpassing that of underwear or socks being changed.

Not intending to belittle the man's accomplishments, but Ghandi he wasn't...

I think the more important issue is to remember that he went far too soon and that everyone should embrace that which feeds their soul every bit as much as that which feeds their bank account. If you can find the thing that will do both, milk it for all it's worth!

(*Several of my former broadcasting cronies in the bay area have worked the in-house video reinforcement and world-wide program distribution for several years.)

^- Of course, And for the record Ghandi was possibly a racist..and was far from "perfect"...he still did some great things, but some of his statements and that (Especially the ones made during his time in South Africa) are...not that great...

Everyone has flaws..

My homage to Steve Jobs. I took this self-portrait in Fall 1984 with my 1st computer, Apple Mac 128k, the original!
