I have this lens on my 550d/T2i and the majority of my recent shots in the 6 months or so have been with this lens. I love it, great carry anywhere lens IMHO.

The below shots were all taken with this lens:

Has anyone tried this one a 5DII? I know it will vignette but I wanted to see how badly. I just dont want the mirror hitting the lens.

@JakAHearts: I think this is an APS-C (EF-S mount) only lens so it is not compatible with the 5DII which is FF...I will double check but ai am reasonably sure that this is the case.

Oh I know its not "compatible". Some lenses will just cause a vignette issue when used on a full frame. Ive heard of lenses having issues with the mirror hitting the lens body.

it is EF-S mount...IIRC you can't mount a EF-S mount to a FF without an adapter? Is that what you mean?

*ninja edit* I "thought it was EF-S mount

Canon's EF-S mount indeed does not physically mount to a FF or 1.3 crop body. Sigma's lenses are all EF mount and they will mount. I've used several Sigma (and other 3rd party) crop lenses on both 1.3 and FF Canon bodies.

I just shot some pics with my 1D and Sigma 17-50 EX DC OS to see how badly it vignettes. It shows slightly blackened corners, more so at the wider end. At 50, it is useable if you're willing to crop down some.

On FF, the vignetting is pretty bad. Rather than just clipping the corners, you get a half circle image, IIRC.
