Here are my first proper attempt at taking pictures of my granddaughter. Comments and constructive criticism welcome.

It was taken with the 70 - 200 at 5.6 at a speed of 1/60 so yes, perhaps I should have upped the ISO a bit more than the 1000 or taken it down to F4. Thanks for the comment.

Adorable baby! You could probably take it down lower than 4, since you only have 1 subject (just IMO). However, the 7D is pretty great with ISO noise, so either way probably works. Just sayin', you paid for a lens that can do f2.8, don't be afraid to mess around with it! :)

Thanks MsCJ. I will have a go at 2.8 and wack up the ISO a bit more.
