Yesterday I took a trip back to Buffalo Point, MB. It has been almost 2 weeks since I've gone out shooting for myself. Last weekend was ruined due to the forest fire and evacuation. I was planning a day out today but I came down with a killer head cold so I am not going anywhere. The wind was very strong on the lake and the spot I normally like to shoot was too cold and uninspiring. I was actually in the car and on my way out when I decided to make one more stop. A spot I normally never shoot at. To my luck, there is this large dead tree stuck at the shore. Since it wasn't moving from the waves I could use my 10 stop filter for some long exposures. I took several but this is by far my favourite of the set.

Here are a few more of this dead tree:

Really like the color shots.
Where did I put my dark filter?
