Can anyone point me to some good tutorials on how to shoot video with the 5D MKII.

Thanks

1-Turn camera on
2-Push LCD display bottom with left thumb
3-Press OK button in center of the thumb wheel to start Record

That's how you shoot video with the 5D II :)

Jesse's "How To" pretty much covers the nuts and bolts but I can tell you from my own experience that it can take years to perfect video production as a craft.

You don't just turn on the camera and wait for the Emmy or Oscar to fall out...

Watch everything you can find on YouTube - Dave Dougdale is great http://www.youtube.com/user/drumat5280 (external link) among others.

Video links from this forum are great because you can reverse engineer them and consider "I like that because..." or "I don't like that because....".

Watch stuff thinking "How did they do that?" and "How would I do that?" and "Awesome shot, how could I use that?"

Steal everything you have seen which is good and strive to avoid everything you have seen which is bad.

I found this to be a pretty good link. However, I just picked up this camera for the first time and didn't even know how to shoot video on it, so I learned a couple things. http://vimeo.com/2517472 (external link)
