She reminds me of someone famous but I can't pinpoint who.

Edit: Michael Cera, the smirk I think. He must have a very feminine look because here's another place comparing him to a girl http://www.sodahead.com …-creepy/question-1367539/ (external link)

Very nice adds Ricky. I think my parents visited that some place last time they were in Bangkok. I can't believe how close you can get to the adult ones though! Here's a BTS shot from last night's shoot with Mary. Some of her finished shots can be seen on my flickr.

that boom stand from cheetah stand is really working out for you eh, Chris. Might pick one up myself at some point.. There handy for use with heavy modifiers like BD's.

Yup, definitely a great investment. I don't use it much on location because of the weight but it's fantastic in the home studio. It held it's own comfortably while I boomed the large octa too. I highly suggest it if you're looking for one.

OK feeding a baby tiger is definitely super cool.... this is in Thailand zoo?

It is at a temple. :) The tigers are protected from poachers by buddhist monks.

I love this lens so much and I definitely consider buying one... but does someone know whether it is likely to get an update (35L II...?) anytime soon ?

Even if they bring out an update, this lens is actually one of my favourite and an update won't change a thing. Sharper than this lens is impossible in my opinion.
