*EDIT*


Ok I uploaded another version. I noticed the haloing also after it was pointed out. I realized the definition brush I had applied in Aperture 3 seemed to be casuing it. The only changes I made to this image was sharpening and some light recovery to bring more color back into the birds chest.

*EDIT II* OK I completely started over and used Photoshop for the first time.

Yeah, the halos and flat backgrounds make it look more like an illustration.
