Any suggestions on the material? This is why I thought it was matthews http://www.calumetphoto.com …im_artificial_silk/mw3152 ![]() for the actual scrim or fabric part I recommend stuff called "ripstop nylon". Its great stuff. Very durable and perfect for creating nice soft light. ---Jay---

That scrum looks deceptively small in that shot... its actually 6'x'6'x6'x6' all around when assembled. Nice thing is though you can take it apart in about two minutes to easily take with you. With the prices out there on large scrims I realized you can make 95% the same thing on your own for a fraction of the price. Yeah I want one for a car 10 x 20 ish Don't try to confuse me with the facts, my mind is already made up.

For a scrim that large just make sure what ever material you use for the frame its durable enough to not flex on such a large span. ---Jay---
