The 135 is probably my most unused lens I guess because it is long on a crop body and I find the 85 2.0 sharper than the 105 2.5 But if I had to choose between the 105 and 135 I'd go with the 105.

I have found the said lens on my local Craigs List for $65 and am debating if it's worth purchasing. What do you guys think?

You reminded me I wanted to get one too...I used to have one, as I said before, and 'traded up' for the later "K" version...but...I missed that chunk of glass....
....and just got one today on ebay, the Q-C version with factory AI aperture ring (the "K" is not AI), just in case I trip over a Nikon Dslr that wants to go home with me...(now all my Nikkors will fit all Nikon dSLRs, giving me more options to trip over)...

Thank you.

Recently I bought the 135mm Nikkor-q Non Ai
http://www.ebay.ie …1439.l2649#ht_2580wt_1259 (external link)

It was the only Nikkor Ai lens I had problem to fit to the Nikon F to Canon EF adapter. It just would not click to the adapter.
Anyone know the reason?
Do I need some particular adapter?
A pity as I was not able to use this lens. I was filming a short on the C300.

Thanks

The adapter fits on the lens but will not lock? Does this adapter fit on your other F-mount lenses without problems?

The issue may be with the adapter rather than the lens...I just pulled a switch between two lenses and the 135Q (mine's a Q.C)....
...the same adapters, even from the same order, fit my Nikkors differently...some go on and off more easily than others...

Good luck...enjoy the Q...it is a VERY nice lens...

The Q is the shizzle pizzle, used it for a while with a slew of N/AI lenses on my 5D.

I also used the 105 single coat, early 1963 version. Fantastic lens and the background rendering is beautiful
