Sigma EX lenses come with a 4-year warranty, correct?
I think my 50/1.4 is about to take a ride to a Sigma facility...
It has quit focusing to MFD... like something is blocking it from going all the way down. :not happy:

Actually, my crappy pc hardware runs the mac OS just fine because they use the same hardware. I prefer windows though. Just thought I'd give another opinion as PC's always seem to get beat up by Mac users. I just don't understand why people can't just use a product without putting another down.

I think anyone who is honest will admit you can do pretty much anything you need if you buy a good system with either OS on it. Although you can get a lot more bang for the buck on PC. SUprised the HP employee didn't do the math with his company's products. For $1700 you get a 27" Imac, which comes with an i5, 4GB RAM, 1TB HD, Radeon 6770/512MB For the same price at HP, you get a new SandyBridge i7, 8GB RAM, 1.5TB HD, Radeon 6850/1GB and two 27" monitors. And of course those of us that know how can build our own PC for probably 2/3 of that price. I like Mac, but I also like PC and I'm a cheap SOB so the PC always wins! +1 Nikon D610 | Sony RX100 | Nikon 24-85 3.5-4.5 | Nikon 50 1.8D | Samyang 14 2.8

From a programming perspective it's absolutely incredible how 'isolated' Steve allowed the Mac island to become. Lately, attempts have been made to rebuild burnt bridges and move back into the mainstream of software and hardware....But it's not fast enough.

So by keeping a homogenous OS and setting down standards for programmers to follow is borderline fascist eh? I had to laugh back in 95 when Microsoft was singing the praises about how Windows 95 was now "plug and play" HA! What joke that was. Mac had been plug and play for over 10 years by that time. As far as Vista being any kind of quality OS, it's a wonder that MS is still in business after that debacle. Canon 60D, Canon18-135 USM IS, Canon 75-300 IS, Sigma 105 f2.8 Macro
