Thats what I was wondering... I always considered Feisol to be if you couldnt afford Gitzo, but never as a substitute.

with student disc, I can get 3541ls for 665.
It's Gitzo or Benro for me. lol. Because they have student's discount.
I'll save up a bit.
I'm just afraid this thing is too big/ heavy for me. But yeah I do want stability.

I checked them before. :)
Nikon does.
If I had known before, I went with them.

BTW, anyone knows where I can see each legs spec's diameter of the 3541ls?

where does Nikon give student discount? not that I am a student :lol: I have not seen them give any kind of discount here locally...

I have no idea regarding the diameter

No, they're pretty poor about specs. They should at least give the max and min diameters.

Someone here with a calipers might be able to help.
