And you'll probably need to be some kind of reporter/bigshot to get within 5 meters of it and then need a few good "heavies" to push the rest of the crowed back so that you can actually reach the camera itself. ;)

Yup! It's going to be tough to even get your hands on one. The crowd will surely be insane!

Equipped with Dual “DIGIC 5+” processors, the DIGIC 5+ offers three times faster performance when processing images. The combination of two DIGIC 5+ processors working together allows an enormous amount of data to be processed in a short period of time.

And, once you've pushed through the crowd, it will be... a non-functioning mock-up!

I see complaints about Canon's trademark "banding" feature over on dpreview. Let the beatings begin

Bahaha... I like Canon's marketing here. It's almost like they're mocking photographers who complain about banding issues.

"Banding? Yes, we took photos of a 'band'. I don't know what else you could possibly mean by 'banding.'"

Are we sure it's banding? I don't see fine lines of banding no matter vertical or horizontal. Honestly I just see some noise patterns.

I've seen in only a few of my photographs, very few considering how many I shoot. I've not been able to fix it in PS, so I live with it.

I'm moving towards digital MF, but, at $40k for a Phase One iQ180, $2k for an Alpa 12 SWA body and 8k for a Digaron 23mm f/5.6 lens...

You are quoting Retail on everything. Getting into MF is much cheaper than that. You could get by quite nicely with a Hasselblad H4D40, and 35 MM lens total for 22k. Just sayin'.

I need my UWAs! With digital MF, the only way to get an horizontal angle of view equivalent to 16mm or less on full-frame at the moment is with an IQ180, IQ160 or Aptus-II 10R with a 23mm lens...

I'm sure in MF you can also get some good discounts and haggle financially a bit more.

Theres only two large enough photo-stores around me that will sell dMF, and only on request, but they have a ton of financial plans, and you can meet with hasselblad/phase one reps quite easily.

Feel free to call me Case.
