I have a 1.4x but I haven't been shooting it lately... In my experience the 200 2.8 is not soft with the 1.4x at all, if that is your concern.

unless your a rich gear snob the 2.8 version is the best bang for the buck in the whole canon line up in my honest opinion and will make you very happy. (sorry i dunno how else to word it and do not mean to offend. if you make the big bucks you have all the right in the world to want the very best money can buy even if thats the only reason you want it)

im really regretting selling mine and its making it hard for me to be happy to enjoy the 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.8 ( bought them with the proceeds of the 200L sale)

i really miss this lens.

I sold mine a while back, now thinking I need to pick up another copy of this great lens.

Anyone looking to sell theirs? Let me know. I'll be posting a WTB thread soon.

Thanks

f/3.5

I might be selling mine sooner than expected since I will probably be moving to a certain pricey 2.8 zoom for sports versatility... its tack ****ing sharp and I love it...

He wasn't able to hold down traction on street tires at the strip and we haven't had drag radials on it. Ran like a 12.6, but its an 11 second car with rubber. There's a 1J in it, R154, kaaz 2 way, etc...
