Looking back, I wish i would have put my email on. These were mainly designed for the little cards to go in the bag with the picture. I only really want to use my images, to advertise my work... Any suggestions on how to improve what I have? I had thought about putting one of my Whip-Poor-Wills on the bottom edge.. I would LOVE to have a website, and thought about 1 & 1, but I dont know how to design one with a cart, or what package i should buy... I am lost!

I'm one of those photographers that doesn't use a photo as a business card. At 2" x 3.5", the photo is too small, IMO. That's what your website is for.

Website-wise, you might look into Smugmug if you're planning on selling your photos.

I'm probably going to lose the "f | A | R" logo. but keep the demask.

Mine's a little racey... but I have some more simple cards to appeal to the client's looking for baby photos and the like.

I just got 1000 of these printed for promo stuff... not exactly a business card, but for dropping on tables at weddings, or giving to bands, or random people when I'm shooting and they ask, "So is there a place where I can see these?"

Would like some feedback on this as I move forward designing my "official" business card.

I also designed and printed these for a client/friend. Pretty silly, but the idea was "I want something people will remember..." So far, people have agreed that the goal was achieved. (The photo is a self portrait of him, by the way)

It's a pity to spoil a nice business card by going for the cheapest card quality.

If the card needs to be printed cmyk (litho) the best option is a minimum of 400gsm (or better still 600gsm is now available) + matt lamination.

If the design is simple and only 1 or 2 colours the best option is extra thick uncoated, natural textured stock - minimum 500gsm - printed letterpress / foil.

These are not the cheapest options - but worth it for a photographer who takes pride in his work.

My first take at trying to design a business card. Critique welcomed.
