Love the way the light worked on this one. I see I could improve the crop, but overall I really love this one. So many times, there's no good place to hang the dress. I saw this window and just about died.

Gorgeous. The shoes are the perfect addition to it.

Thank you. I think it's too pink though isn't it? For some reason all the dress shots kept photographing with tons of magenta. I think there was something about the belt. Do y'all see that too?

I'm on my work monitor and don't trust it for anything haha. If someone else doesn't chime in, I'll check back after work and let you know.

Yep--magenta-ish (if ever in doubt, check by the numbers in photoshop by using the 'sample color' tool and checking the RGB values) especially near the bottom. I'd probably adjust it slightly (maybe with some desat.) but honestly, sometimes you have an image whose color balance varies in the scene and you just have to find a compromise in the middle. This one doesn't seem too off.

It's nice and sharp, but I don't know why these dress in the window shots are so trendy. There's a blown out sky in the window that's painful to look at and it's hiding the detail in the top of the dress. Also the dress is really similar in color to the wall.

Loved it till I saw the shoes. Did you do one with and one without?

Yep, one with and one without. Actually I took about 10. I wanted to blow out the window but keep dress detail and keep the dress sharp. I took several at varied exposures with and without the shoes. Bam bam bam. The main thing that's bugging me is the magenta at the bottom. Need to fix that.

I will put both with shoes and without in the album

I wish we had taken one without the belt. I LOVE the belt. But the dress is so simple and elegant and the lines are so great against those windows ... DAMN, I'm so mad I forgot.
