Hello thread,

My name is Kevin and I have a camera bag problem. I am still on page 156 in terms of reading through the thread but was inspired to post anyway!

A - wow, one of the few people who can beat my camera bag collection. Hooray! (at least it makes mine look a little less crazy.)

B - I don't think you have a camera bag problem so much as a Tamrac Bag problem. :D

I have only ever had one problem with a Tamrac bag, and that was from forcing it closed for almost a year. Tamrac had me ship it to them and they re-stitched the whole thing for free and shipped it back.

Not pictured are the Expedition 3, Cyberpack 6 and Cyberpack 8 that were previously owned and a superlights series laptop bag that my girlfriend uses for work (I might be able to get a photo if someone wants one). I'm also a bit of a Brenthaven snob but those are more business and laptop bags.

From reading the thread I am very interested in the Lowepro and Think Tank rollers though, especially since I am seriously un-impressed with the Tamrac rollers (which is tough for me to say!).

went to a store today for testing the Lowepro Photo Sport 200 Aw

at first i was convinced by the pictures and specs posted online

finally, when i saw it for real

i was really disappointed

i've never seen such a low quality for an expensive bag

the client next to me had her ring ripping into the demo bag by accident

and torn the bag !!!

the fabric is so thin that could easily be torn

I do agree the material is very thin. In fact I was skeptical about the durability. But its really light weight, and I use it for trekking and everyday activities if I want a backpack. Its more of a utility bag that you can put a ton of light weight stuffs like ipad, small DSLR, towels, water reservoirs, wallets, keys etc. As a dedicated photo bag I have reservation. Clik Elite Probody would seems stronger (but heavier)

I grabbed a custom Porteen Gear bag this week. Loving it. Here are a few pics, once I get my xsi back from my brother I can take a pic of it loaded up.

So you keep them in those sealed units when not in use on purpose or is that just what you had available for storage?
