Haven't done much shooting lately as I got a new toy... My new tacoma. Here is a picture I took out playing in our first snow at 5-6am the other morning.

Tripod, a remote and a smooth road. Or if you can have somebody take the shot if you dont want to use the remote.

I just feel like there's no way the image would end up being sharp. Especially without IS.

i don't even use a tripod or remote... just hold the camera against something in the car, or just laying it on the dashboard. ;)

IS wouldn't even help for something like this. Way too much shaking going on. You just have to get on a smooth road and hope for the best. The shot I posted was handheld, high ISO, as fast as a shutter speed as I could use while still being slow enough to show at least some motion blur. It helps if the car is going faster.
