Thanks and we'll look forward to seeing them! Still never saw those light house pics we were talking about a few months back. What ever became of those?

Cheers!

The times I've wanted to get a shot, there were either too many people or the weather didn't cooperate.

Looks like fall is almost here for you Jeff. :) It's starting to turn over here but, it's really not impressive atm.

Fall around here this year has also been unimpressive. Most of the areas along the river are either bare or still green and just a handful of trees still have a bit of color to capture. I'm not sure what's making things different this year but maybe it's a harbinger of some impending global disaster?...or not.

Cheers!

Do you guys notice a lot of flare with this lens? I've noticed some on a few shots lately.

Here are a couple of examples:

This is cropped from the graveyard shot above. There were quite a few of these little "rainbow" streaks. Maybe they were ghosts. :)

You'll also see a large flare spot in the one giant bird photo I posted a few days ago.

^^ Nice bridge shots, g!

About the flare, I have run into a bit of it when shooting into light sources but in most cases it's pretty minimal and manageable by cloning it out when it detrimental to the shot. But considering the shape of the outer element, it's pretty well controlled.

Cheers!

^^The flare isn't that bad but, considering the bulbous element it's kind of difficult to avoid.
