I went ahead and placed my order for the pro version just because of the sale. Might as well. Also I placed an order on Adorama for the Sandisk extreme 8GB a day before this sale. I hope Adorama can honor the price difference.

Just give them a call, they are pretty good at keeping customers happy.

To those hesitant about the SanDisk cards failing, I wouldn't worry too much about a few negative threads on the internet. Out of 8 SanDisk CF cards (Extreme 60mb/sec) I've purchased in the past two years, only one has been faulty. It wouldn't format in camera right out of the packaging.

To share the whole story, I bought it from a third party seller on Amazon and it arrived only in the plastic case. Pretty sketchy. I had no issue returning it and getting a refund. :D

You never know if that was really Sandisk or not.

Ordered the 16GB Extreme Pro from B&H for 59.95 with free shipping.

Only card of any brand or type I've used over the years and had to fail was a Lexar.

Just got a 16gb extreme pro as well...

I've very happy with my 3 Transcends 16gb's. We'll see how this sandisk holds up

I have a Transcend 16GB too.. but I have used SanDisk a lot and never had issues.

By the way, I was able to order one card for the $59.95 price, not sure what others were saying about having to order 2.

Yea so some of these have gone up by 6 dollars each. I haven't checked them all but the 16GB 400x and 600x variants have. I refreshed my browser and the price changed :( B&H as well as Adorama changed their prices. I guess too many people were buying them

+1 lucky I got mine before the hike. I bet they'll go up again by tonight.
