everyone can just list off lenses if that's what you want...but if you're looking to actually address a problem/area where you are lacking it'd help to get more information...

i say 1200mm is the best discontinued lens :)

Love my old EF50-1.8 mk1,and EF 70-210 usm is hard to beat, the old 1988 28-70 is a winner as is the EF 100-300L but wide open at 5.6 and slow focus can limit its usefulness
