I think the thread needs another hit-and-run from June Bug to prime the posting pump, Rob.

Hahah, Dave.

I'm still house hunting and we've just started with our busy season at work so I'm a little in active at the moment. Should be settled into our new place within a couple of weeks and I begin the summer push to get my portfolio agency worthy.

On the gear front, still waiting on B&H about the Setti and finally got my 1DsII on ebay and my Sigma 50 on a local forum.

It is odd how sometimes there is nothing going on here. This way Mark IV is far away :(

Well, considering this is an elinchrom started thread, and we're almost at a Mark IV, with lets be honest relatively few new products to even mention... we're bound to run on slower steam at some point...

There isn't even that many problems or questions to answer :P

I remember seeing something about Paul C Buff grids being able to fit the 7" Elinchrom reflectors. Anyone have any info on this? I am about to order reflectors for my Rx's and I have a set of PCB grids.

Hi Dave,

I've used PCB 7" grids and Speedotron 7" grids with the Elinchrom 7" spot grid reflector. I've also seen reports of the Impact (B&H house brand) grids fitting too. I suspect there are probably more that work. Give or take small amounts in the spring or tension arm, I think that most 7" grids are going to fit.

Elinchrom should announce something like Einstein was AB people. So we can discuss it and complain about it being only 6 weeks away. :D

Two things I must do today: go over yesterday's shoot and try to figure out how to put together the 39" deep octa - I've already tried and failed a few nights ago.

Also, happy to now be able to rightfully participate in this thread. I like it here. It's...got personality.

The Calumet ones work as well.

Congrats, the 39" is pretty easy to assemble not sure where you're stuck at.
