Hi
I have an adapter with a 52mm "filter" mount and I want to test it on a zoom lens.

What EF/EF-S zoom lens has 52mm filter?

Thanks

Doesn't look like there are any current zooms that have 52mm threads. Few primes. Here is a list I found.

The most recent zoom to use that size was the 55-200, which was discontinued a couple years back. Luckily it's cheap but will still cost more than just getting another adaptor. This is for reverse mounting, I assume?

I've got an old EF 35-80mm kit lens (really old) that takes one.

For primes there is/was the EF 28/2.8, EF 35/2, EF 50/1.8, EF 50/1.8 II, EF-S 60/2.8 Macro, EF 100/2.8 Macro non-USM.

For zooms, there was the EF 28-70/3.5-4.5, EF 28-70/3.5-5.6 II, EF 35-70/3.5-4.5, EF 35-70/3.5-4.5A, all EF 35-80/4-5.6 models, EF 38-76/4.5-5.6, all EF 55-200/4.5-5.6 models, all EF 80-200/4.5-5.6 models. You might still find some 55-200 II or 35-80 III new as old stock. Otherwise all of these can be found on the used market.

If it is for mounting reversed on a camera body, then it might be better to get an old manual focus lens that has an aperture ring. If it is for mounting onto another lens, then a Canon EF lens would work fine.
