Well, UPS just came and dropped off my new filter. Just wanted to share with folks that the item shipped is exactly what we were all expecting.

Thanks again to randy98mtu for posting it.

Sweet. Thanks for posting. Mine should be here tomorrow. I feel a bit guilty about it, but I'm sure there is plenty of profit for them to cover this oops. They caught it fast enough I don't think all that many sold at this price.

I guess this goes to show that you need to try when these things get posted as they may come through. I also think that if you don't have folks buying dozens of them it does not draw attention either.

Awesome. I'm glad it's the same item. Looking forward to getting it in the mail. Now find me a deal for a 77mm ND filter....

There was one a couple weeks ago... did not think of posting it here. It was this one: http://www.amazon.com …TF8&qid=1321331066&sr=1-1 (external link)

which I paid 13$. I guess that it is the same sort of deal that we just got now (just not as good). I will be sure to post it here next time I see something like that.

Looks like Video Camera Center have raised their prices even further than the 124 to recoup losses :p

Nice, that's pretty crazy that they actually honored it--they definitely didn't have to. I've seen 3rd party retailers back out of "amazon fulfillment" deals in the past that were clearly price mistakes.
