I bought a cheap gorilla pod knock-off for about $20 just to take this photo. I was not allowed to bring my real tripod to the helipad on Mori Tower, so the gorilla pod had to do the job! '

The tiny gorillapod was designed for smaller stuff, but It did hold my 5D II + 70-200! However, I had to take 20 shots before I managed to get a sharp one. lol. :)

Man Ricky, great shots from Japan. them kids at the temple are just too cute!

I hope you had your camera strap around your neck when you used gorilla pod for the night scene. Scarry stuff.

2 quick ones. First walk of the winter. Summer is too short and fall quickly turns to winter here.

A crop of just the baby peeking out would've been a funny/cool pic too.

Nice one Al. I like your use of DOF to capture great street shots

Thank you.

Oh yes, I had the camera strap on me, and my hands ready to grab the camera at any second. :D

This looks like his face is blown out on my work computer but I swear it looked fine on my monitor at home.

Thanks! I was also worried about the skin tone. The walls were bright green and I think it was causing a color cast on his skin but with me being colorblind, there's no way for me to tell. It was a fun shoot none the less.

I agree with Ricku, not blown out, but maybe a tad brighter than ideal. Looks like his skin tone really reflects! Color looks very good to me (not green, nor any other cast).
