Use the EOS 1D Mark IV and EOS 7D now but have also had a 20D,40D,1D MKIIN,1D MKIII and a 5DMKII.

Started photography as a hobby when i was about 10 when my Dad gave me a Zenith camera and a handheld light meter and prism focuser that sat on the hot shoe. Then for my 20th birthday he gave me his Mamiya which i still have along with some Minolta Dynax SLR's.

Been lucky enough to get accredited through my hobby to cover British Superbikes and several other events but have still never sold a single photo to this day and im now 42 years old with 2 kids of my own who will hopefully get the bug from me for photography like i did from my Dad.

I am pretty sure some hobbyists have more skill than some of those so called professionals but choose to stay hobbyists because of various reasons like unwillingness to deal with preppy and pompous low IQ models or picky soccer moms or brides/grooms
