Last year. Eos 550d 18-55 kit lens

Now. 5D MKII 24-105L nifty fifty, 430exII.

A year ago I had what's in my sig.

Well, I figured I should update seeing as how so much has changed.

A year ago I had no camera at all (I started in Jan of 2011).

It's been a good year for acquiring gear.

It's amazing that no how matter how much you may lust for a lens (70-200), you realize it isn't for you after you get over the lust. The gear was all sold to fund the 5D mark II and 35L. Don't regret it in the slightest

Next is a Samyang 14 2.8

Then:
Rebel Ti1 (my first DSLR)
Sigma 17-70mm OS
50mm f/1.8

Now:
It's in my sig

Then: 50D and Canon EF 28-135mm (both now given to my son) and EF-S 10-22, EF-S 60mm f2.8 macro, horrible Sigma flash, CS3

Now: 7D (two bodies) the last two lenses above and EF 50mm f1.2L, EF 24-70mm f/2.8L, EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II, 580EX II, CS5 and Lightroom3

A year ago:

T1i, kit lens, 50mm 1.8, 100mm macro 2.8

Now:
60D,Tamron 10-24, 35mm 2.0, 55-250mm, and a 430exII

2011 has been good to me, plus the custom build PC, oh how I love that machine

A year ago I had a broken 20D, a 75-300mm, a 50mm f1.8, and a 28-70mm housed in a 200EG. Now I have a 7D, a 70-250 mm and a 18-70mm (and my old 50mm) housed in a Tamrac Evolution 8. My 11 year old son has all my old equipment except he has a 10D I picked up to replace the dead 20D. For me this was perhaps all I've spent f significance in the last 5 years. I'm very happy with the solution resulting from a broken 20D though my bank balance might disagree.

A year ago I was shooting with a 20D and a 40D. Now I'm shooting with a 40D and a 5D. It's entirely possible that, by the end of the year, I could be shooting with the 5D and a 7D...

Yr ago. Canon T1i 18-55 (kit) and a 50mm f/1.8

Now. Canon T1i 18-55 (kit) 50mm f/1.8 85 f/1.8

A year ago, I had a canon 40D with the 17-55 IS f/2.8 lens and a 580EX II.

Now, I gots me 2 5Dc's, 35L, 85L, 135L and the same 580EX II.

Last November: T2i, 18-55mm kit lens, Nifty 250, Sunpak PZ42XC flash.

Now, all you see in my sig+ 4 Flashpoint 320M monolights, stands, softboxes, 60inch umbrella, gels, honeycombs, barn doors, snoots, background system, 8 backgrounds, posing table, posing stool, 3 more bags, Photoshop CS5, several plugin packages, three tripods (a carbon fiber for travel and a heavy wheeled model for "studio" use) and a number of other do-dads, knick-knacks and paddywhacks.

T2I and kit lens, and here im am nearly 10000 later, all thanks to this site!!!!
