OK, Had a chance to try these out. Bottom line...for the money I think they are a good deal. I printed with a Pixma 9000 Mark II. I will give some mild cons:

1. I wish the website would give you an icc profile for the included canvas paper
2. Watch the you tube finishing tips. It looks like this was done as an after thought. They now recommend a few strategic staples and some finishing tape. The reason I now know is teh canvas has a tendency to separate on the back of the frame (slightly only...the tape should take care of this easily)
3. The aforementioned multiple shipping box issue.

Pros:
1. looks good
2. cheap

So I ordered 10 more. I hope they get the box issue figured out:rolleyes:

IMPORTANT IF YOU ARE INTERESTED...OFFER ENDS NOVEMBER 20

I just got back from watching the America's Cup races in SD. I just checked and I have 8 tracking numbers... so I can't wait to see the huge pile of boxes on my porch. I'll be sure to post a pic.

I'm debating ordering another 8 since you like them. Is it accurate that each kit has 3 pieces of canvas and 2 cardboard frames? That makes the paper/frame cost per print like $3.10 (not counting ink), with 8 free pieces of 13x19 canvas paper.

Any idea what the ink costs? I got my Pixma Pro 9000 with my 7D deal a while back, will be good to start using it.

I just bought 8! Can anyone post pics of their final printed/hung products? Looks pretty neat even if it is just cardboard.

Here you go...

Sorry for the crappy quality...too lazy to set up lights etc; but you can get the idea from this:

That is correct...you get 3 pieces of canvas and material for only 2 structures. I gyess the extra canvas is if you screw up printing. Whether you do or not, its nice to have the extra canvas. When you print, I recommend reading your 9000 manual. You need to front load this paper and to me it was not intuitive. If you are used to using the front loader however, it should be a breeze. Also pick paper type canvas etc from your print utility.

W/r/t ink...the cheapest OEM for the whole set I've found is here:

Oh...and not only do they each come in their own box, but the box is reinforce double walled corrugated cardboard....not cheap boxes....idiots are wasting their money shipping these like this...but it arrived safe so I won't complain too much.

Thanks for sharing the pics Celtic. Any way you look at it, this is a pretty darn good value. Did you spray it with the finish? Are the prints waterproof?

I didn't spray them but I didn't really have any experience working with canvas until now. Is it recommended?

Not sure if it is waterproof. It's kind of a glossy canvas. It seems pretty similar to my Canvas on Demand canvas that i had previously ordered in my opinion.
