Ah, heck. Not you again! I thought we decided last year you wouldn't spam us with these incredible, makes-me-jealous, landscapes with the Ducati in the foreground.

I guess the mods took your side.

;)

Great shots.

Thank you. bw!

From Paul Allen's Flight History Museum. Used Photomatix Pro with three images each. Notice that there are three light sources inside the museum, mercury vapor, florescent and daylight. It was down pouring out side so the daylight coming in the windows was very diffuse. You can't get as close to the planes as I would like to have. I used a small carbon fiber tripod that worked great for this sized camera but I am not too happy with the height limit on it. First time I used the G12, which I rented from a local camera shop for the weekend at $30.

That's a great shot..what camera/what lens/how much gear/money spent etc is irrelevant. Just being there and seeing the potential made this work. bw!

Must get out more with the g12..

Derek

Thanks man, appreciate it. And I couldn't agree more; now I'm out of the DSLR race, I see how much of a con it can be and I miss it less and less every time my G12 is to hand in my pocket. I would never have taken the SLR stuff down there yesterday, and as a result I would have missed it.
