A little late in posting from Round 4 of the Australian Off-road championship as it was held back in late July, but have only just finished going through all the shots from the event.

Have picked a small selection with a little variety to them.

C&C welcome,

Thanks for looking.

I've always liked that red dirt you have. Nice shots.

Just a little...haha
Nice work Clayton.
Really like #3, 6 and 8.
That was a really great event. Although my stuff was OK, unfortunately I didn't make the most of the opportunities that were available.
Can't wait for 2011.

Love them,Clayton,3 is my fave, great stuff.
Real quality.

Would worry me the thought of all those snakes and spiders sneaking about,or do the cars scare them off ?

Occasionally you see the odd snake, but they're more scared of you then you are of them and they usually disappear pretty quickly if you leave them alone.
Drop Bears however, are a different story.
The last snake I saw, was a Brown and I nearly walked on it. I saw about 4 feet of him and didn't see the head or the tail but it had about a 4 inch girth, so I knew it was a biggun - I'd guess close to seven feet.
The ones you see are OK, it's the ones you don't see that might cause a problem.

You should come over Pons and we could introduce you to some of the natives.

Did not see any of your shots from that event, except that sequence of Gartner's flip which was a great catch!!

Hopefully the event is on the schedule for 2012.

Hi Phil,
I would love to and have rellos in Adelaide,so could happen.

I cannot stand snakes ,give me the shivers ,thank goodness we only have a few tiddly adders over here.

When the Pons was a lad we lived in India and had tons of wildlife visiting the garden including ,Rabid dogs, wild pigs ,cobras ,banded krites, scorpions amongst others, but was fearless in those days due to the stupidity of youth and a touch of ignorance.
