Don't think I've ever seen a 2-seater harrier. I'm assuming it's a trainer. Interesting how strange it makes the harrier look.

I believe that the first 2 seat Harrier was registered G-VTOL. it was built around 1971. I had the priveledge of sitting in the cockpit when I was an ATC cadet. It would fly regularly out of Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey UK, many years before Top Gear took over the hanger and runway. In fact I also used to do my skid pan training in an area set aside on the peri track. It was great to see the Harriers flying from there.

very nice shot, Jay. Assuming that's an open cockpit biplane but what type is it?

I've been lurking this thread for a while now. Some really outstanding aviation photos. I was cleaning up my archives this evening and came across a favorite of mine from the Quonset, Rhode Island airshow many years ago. Scanned film, of course. It's a Christen Eagle flying canopy-to-canopy with an F-14. I had never seen that before (or since, for that matter).

Only one; not three. Am I forgiven?

Amazing shot of a once-in-a-lifetime scene! Pretty darn crazy. Just an FYI, I think that is an S-2B Pitts, not a Christen Eagle.

I spend too much on flying to have much equipment worth listing!
