I had the priveledge of sitting in the cockpit when I was an ATC cadet. It would fly regularly out of Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey UK, many years before Top Gear took over the hanger and runway. In fact I also used to do my skid pan training in an area set aside on the peri track. It was great to see the Harriers flying from there. Scuff

I was cleaning up my archives this evening and came across a favorite of mine from the Quonset, Rhode Island airshow many years ago. Scanned film, of course. It's a Christen Eagle flying canopy-to-canopy with an F-14. I had never seen that before (or since, for that matter). ![]() Only one; not three. Am I forgiven? Dave F. MOST EPIC PICTURE OF ALL TIME!!!! YOU WIN! Holy MUTHA of all Tomcat shots! WOW! Canon 7D / Canon 40D / Opteka 6.5mm / Sigma 18-35 1.8 / Canon 50mm 1.4 / Canon 50mm 1.8 / Tamron 28-75 2.8 / Tamron 70-300VC

Just an FYI, I think that is an S-2B Pitts, not a Christen Eagle. -Ryan
