I wish!! Very nice!

If I even had 1/2 that, I could die happy....

So maybe I'm not the only one who drooled just a little bit upon seeing that collection. Heckuva toolbox.

Anyway...

Canon 85 f/1.8
Canon 17-40L
Canon 70-200L MkII

There are quite a few hobbyists who could start their own equipment rental company...

I, on the other hand have a 50mm f/1.8 II, and a 17-85mm. Oh, I can't leave out the magnificent 75mm f/15 Kodet from my Duaflex IV.

Nifty Fifty
17-40 f4L
24-105 f4L IS
70-200 f4L

And I just ordered a 135 f2L. Gonna give it a whirl and see if I like it enough to get rid of the 70-200.

Originally bought the 24-105 for landscape stuff, wasn't wide enough so I got the 17-40 with a 5D2. (like most people it seems) my gear list has been a revolving door for the past two years. However I feel like I will have the 5d2/17-40/24-105 combo for quite a while...

I am pretty sure some hobbyists have more skill than some of those so called professionals but choose to stay hobbyists because of various reasons like unwillingness to deal with preppy and pompous low IQ models or picky soccer moms or brides/grooms

and you call sports geeky, time for reality check

Heh? The closest thing to a comment on sports was the mention of picky soccer moms - and they have nothing to do with the sport. Not trying to cause trouble - just trying to understand what this comment is about.

haha I think he's just paying back for what I said in his thread:

but then again I wasn't the only one who find that thread confusingly geeky. :D
