....Ummm...it's a fire hydrant.... A bit soft on the focus too...and....it's a fire hydrant....

i like it.. one of those quick catches... while not perfect nor razor sharp... you improvised and instead of texting.. grabbed your bag.. kudos to you!!! well played..

p.s. next time put a cup out and see if anyone gives you money.. im just sayin.. have to fund the hobby somehow...

With it being as dark as it was, it was hard to get an accurate focus, but when I look at the full res version on my 27" Mac it looks pretty sharp. The focus point on my screen is the fat part of the barrel above the raised numbers. Might be the much lower res version here. Or maybe the kids smeared peanut butter on your screen. ;)

You handheld ~200mm with a .3" exposure? There's your problem.

Yeah, a fire hydrant. Underexposed with a lot of noise evident, not very sharp. But its red.

Definitely not optimum conditions that's for sure.

Well, he did say he propped the camera on his camera bag which still isn't the prime way to do this but if it's all he had then I think he did a fine job!

i got into an argument with one of them in center city pa... he tried getting me to rally with them..
till i asked him why we had k-9 teeth.. and explained to him i have had gator, rabbit, deer, cow, bison, kangaroo, ostrich and whatever else i can get my hands on... he wasnt happy with me.. as im also loud and obnoxious when i get into it with people...
i eat my steak.. black and blue... or pittsburgh rare....
